From The Desk of Shannon “The Cannon” Briggs…!!!
Season Beatings,
All I want for Christmas is any of the current belt holder’s two front teeth. So that’s six teeth that I’m looking to knock out.
So I jumped into my Shanta Claus uniform thanks to Andre Rozier ( Havoc boxing trunks a Havoc t-shirt and addidas boxing boots ) and broke the two left ribs of Marcus Mcgee last Thursday night December 3rd. It was not personal people. I had to. My two sons gotta eat. And if I don’t feed these over sized kids they might jump me. So I’m back at doing what I do best, my only talent,( sad face ) causing people pain in the ring. I will admit that it was fun. After two years of sitting on my couch eating Hagen Daz butter pecan ice cream and Pollo Tropical four times a day, I was forced by my trainer Herman Caicedo to get off my fat 334 pound ass and make some money. I’ve lost 80 pounds and I’m back at it like a crack addict. That rhymed. But my addiction is running 10 miles every other day at 4:30 am, coming home, showering, eating 12 egg whites, and oatmeal, and about 873 vitamins. I need to get into the vitamin hustle. Sheeeesh.
Things went well. My promoter Greg Cohen of Golden Empire, and boxing manager Ivalo Gotev put things in motion and it was a great night of fighting and fun. The after party was thrown by new consultant/adviser Marlon “Flip” Greer. It was off the hook!!!! His wife made the most delicious, banging, red velvet cake that read “The Champ is here!” OK, I ate most of it and I put a few pounds back on, but I’m already back in the gym.
My next date to entertain the world while fighting with my shirt off in front of complete strangers is January 8th at the Glendale Auditorium in Los Angeles California. The after party will be at the Playboy mansion. YES!!!!

shannon’s footwork was slow and lazy. he is an old guy trying to make a few bucks at the only thing he knows how to do. i agree, the graphics in the beginning of the video are not up to standard but i would have liked to seen the fight ringside.

I’m not Shannon’s “spokes person” I am just a fan and a friend. I don’t know where you get that I have “Anger problems” but who the F**K are you. Oh I know, you must be Steven Spielberg, giving me advice on film editing. I filmed the fight ringside, and my assistant filmed from the front row. And if that’s all you have to contribute to this topic then you need to get a life. Briggs is FAR from “done” He’s just begun.
