Britain’s Got Talent Stars To Appear At Prizefighter

Britain’s Got Talent finalists Nemisis will be appearing in the warm-up to next month’s Prizefighter Heavyweights III.

Talented Milton Keynes-based street dancers Nemisis will be part of the pre-show entertainment at the ExCel in London’s Docklands on Friday, October 2.

Nemisis were one of the star acts of the 2008 series of the popular ITV programme with Simon Cowell describing them as ‘a bunch of really talented, cool friends and brilliant dancers’.

Matchroom Sport’s Managing Director Eddie Hearn said: “We’re going to be putting on one hell of a show for the fans on October 2nd, not just with the action in the ring but also with the pre-show entertainment.

“We’re delighted to welcome Nemisis to what will be a huge night for British Boxing at Prizefighter Heavyweights III. It will be an electric night in and out of the ring.”

Nemisis member Isha Chirmuuta added: ‘We’re excited to perform at Prizefighter on October 2nd at the Excel.

“It’s a big night for British sport and we’re looking forward to getting the crowd ready for action. We will also definitely be hanging around to watch the main event!”

Prizefighter Heavyweights III had originally been scheduled to take place at the York Hall in Bethnal Green but a huge demand for tickets saw it relocated to the ExCel, where it is expected to be a 5,000 sell-out.

The all-in-one-night event features eight heavyweights including current British Champion Danny Williams, former Olympic Games gold medalist Audley Harrison and three former British Champions, all vying for the £32,000 top prize.

Tickets cost £40 and £80 and are available from See Tickets on 0871 220 0260, www.seetickets.com or from Matchroom Sport on 01277 359900.

The full list of competitors is Coleman Barrett (Galway, Ireland), Scott Belshaw (Lisburn, Northern Ireland), Scott Gammer (Pembroke Dock, Wales), Audley Harrison (London / California), Michael Holden (Manchester), Danny Hughes (Sunderland), Michael Sprott (Reading) and Danny Williams (Brixton).
