Welcome Back to the Wallstreet Report. A lot of people have been asking me what is my track record with my investments, and oddly enough I do not have an answer for them, so today we will start something new. I am going to list the fight and a brief description of the investment I would make and why. We will keep total by me investing up to a hypothetical $100 per investment opportunity. Each week I will repeat the same process to show how great I am at investing in boxing. Let’s get this show on the road.
Investment Opportunity- Shaun George (-225) vs. Chris Henry (+175)
Investment Decision- This was a tough decision. Chris Henry is a legitimate top contender who very narrowly lost to Yusef Mack. Also Shaun George has not necessarily been that active since easily defeating Chris Byrd back in 2008. Although the odds are very nice for Chris Henry I am going to have to invest in Mr. George. The reason why is not to long ago Mr. Henry was arrested, tased, and said to have been high on pcp, so who knows where his head is at. My final decision is $100 on Shaun George
Investment Opportunity- Matt Godfrey (-1200) vs Shawn Hawk (+600)
Investment Decision- Normally I would like to invest a small sum on the underdog, but in this case you might as well light the money on fire. Mr. Hawk is extremely over protected, and there is a reason why. Also it seems his management has decided to cash out. Mr. Godfrey is fighter at the top of the cruiserweight rankings, and his rank was earned. My final decision is $100 on under 9.5 (-225).
Investment Opportunity- Jesse Brinkley (-600) vs Mike Paschall (+400)
Investment Decision- This is another situation with an over protected fighter versus a tough contender. Mr. Brinkley should stop Mr. Paschall around rounds 6 or 7. My final decision is $100 on under 9.5 (+175).
Investment Opportunity- Felix Strum (-500) vs Khoren Gevor (+350)
Investment Decision- UPSET SPECIAL! Mr. Gevor should be able to easily outbox Mr. Strum throughout the fight, and it will end up looking something like Gevor’s fight with Mr. Abraham. Thus I feel Gevor will avoid the power and box his way to a MD. My final decision is $100 on Khoren Gevor.
Investment Opportunity- Tomasz Adamek (-2500) vs Bobby Gunn (+1100)
Investment Decision- I said before I was not going to touch this fight due to hometown favorites, but the over/under has caught my eye. I am pretty much positive it will make it to the 5th round. My final decision is $100 on over 4.5 (+175).
Investment Opportunity- Steve Cunningham (-600) vs Wayne Braithwaite (+400)
Investment Decision- Mr. Cunningham is pretty much the sure to thing to win, but once again his payout just isn’t worth investing in…but Mr. Braithwaite’s whiskers should hold up. My final decision is over 10.5 (-225).
Investment Oppurtunity- Vic Darchinyan (-260) vs Joseph Agbeko (+200)
Investment Decision- I feel that everyone is expecting an easy win for Mr. Darchinyan, due somewhat to his wins over Mijares and Arce. I feel his problem will be that he buys his own hype also. Mr. Darchinyan will get cocky and get caught. My final decision is $100 on Joseph Agbeko.
Note: If the fighter I chose is plus and amount the my bet is $100, but if it is minus then my bet is the number that is minus.
