Irish Olympic Boxing hero Darren Sutherland believes he is adapting well to life as a pro, and believes his next two fights are just another round in the development of a “novice” fighter.
The fact Sutherland is fighting twice in the space of ten days had some pundits suggesting that Frank Maloney was trying to bolster the Blanchardstown native’s record in a bid to fast track him up the paid ladder. Read more »

The world’s premier pugilist program suffered a heavy blow with the recent demise of Setanta Sports. The boxing community, however has come together to ensure Buncey and his team are only flirting temporarily with the canvas and will survive the count to live to fight another day.

Sugar Shane Mosley Nominated For 2009 ESPY Award in the Best Fighter Category

Welterweight champion “Sugar” Shane Mosley has been nominated for a 2009 ESPY Award in the category of “Best Fighter.”
ESPY nominations were announced to the public June 25th Fans have the chance to vote for Shane by voting online at www.ESPYS.tv or visiting www.sugarshanemosley.com. Fan voting concludes July 12th.
“Sugar” Shane Mosley is a future hall of famer and has a career record of 46-5-1. His last victory came in January 2009 when he defeated Antonio Margarito in a ninth-round knockout earning him the WBA Welterweight Super Championship.
