OtG EXCLUSIVE: Tyson Fury Calls Out Mike Perez…Challenge Accepted…!!!

U.K. based Motor mouth boxer Tyson Fury has finally bitten off more than he can chew. Upon hearing news that Mike “El Rebellio” Perez 8(6)-0, is out of the ring for the next five months, he has decided to issue a challenge to the Cork, Ireland based Cuban.
Perez’ promoter Gary Hyde, speaking exclusively to Www.OnThEGRiNDBoXiNG.coM has confirmed that Mike is only too happy to accept the challenge.
Perez, who has been carrying around a performance hampering injury since he dislocated his shoulder back in September 2009, has sparred Fury on several occasions and feels his has the power speed and agility to trouble the man mountain that is Fury. OtG’s eyes inside the Castlebar compound where the combatants were perfecting their skills and readying themselves for the world scene, have reported that although Mike Perez was working hurt, it was Tyson Fury who struggled in the sessions and proved unable to catch the promising Cuban prospect. Over the 2 days of sessions they reportedly had started out fairly well matched, however by the second day of work Perez had made the necessary adjustments and found that the huge Fury had no answer for his speed.
It’s no secret that Gary Hyde has been looking to move his charges up the rankings (in what would be a simultaneous assault on three different divisions, with his three Cuban boxers fighting out of Ireland), but it seems Mikes injury had thrown a spanner in the works. However with Fury fighting at least once a month, it would be the ideal way to make up for lost ground in a single fight, and also give Mike a good tune up for tougher opposition.
Hyde went on to state that he, “Didn’t want to put Perez in with anyone too dangerous in his first fight back from injury,” and likes the idea of matching Mike against Tyson before the Cuban commences his much anticipated assault on the heavyweight rankings later this year. Ideally Hyde would like the bout to take place in September, but he is unsure if Fury’s promoter Mick Hennessy will want to risk his prized fighter against an opponent as dangerous as Perez.
Perez’ fellow countrymen Alexi Acosta and Luis Garcia will be fighting Saturday April 25th, on a card that also includes Limerick Light Heavyweight Jamie Power and Cork knock out artist “Spike” O’Sullivan. It promises to be an interesting evenings entertainment, the fight will be available to view online exclusively at www.gofightlive.tv
Check out Mike Perez in action last year in this footage filmed as he faced journeyman Howard Daley.
[Editor's Note: This was Daley's 5th bout and Perez' 4th. Although very early in Perez' career, see if you can tell why he's already drawing comparison to a certain other young man named Mike from years past.]

This is utter bullsh*t if I ever heard it.
