Spinks UD. Cory “The Next Generation” Spinks is a lock. This man is basically a poor man’s “Money May” without the Money, the Pizazz, or the flair and style of the Money, or the Pretty Boy Looks. In the Skillz Department though, the true son of Neon Leon shines bright. A former Undisputed Champion who outfoxed my idol Ricardo Mayorga, went to war with Zab “Super” Judah, and who I had the pleasure of viewing at the Mandalay Bay in a “W” over former WBC Titlist Miguel Angel Gonzales. Virtually no one in this game outside of Floyd can truly outwork Cory, who though he dances to the ring like a tweaking crackhead on Soto Street looking through the dirt for little pieces of crack, and convulsing…any man who went 12 with Jermain the way he did is one tough SOB. There are those who say he beat Jermain. I am not one of those voices, but he did better than even the Executioner.
