Saturday Night’s Winners and Losers: Team OnThEGRinD Picks ‘em

Paul “The Punisher” Williams vs Ronald “Winky” Wright

Wright wide UD12 Paul Williams - I feel that even an aged Winky has too great a stylistic and strength advantage over Williams. I expect Wright’s pressure to be effective, Wright’s jab to establish on point and Wright’s accurate counters to drop Williams workrate down significantly. Also expect Williams to cut, he has a major issue with cuts and has cut in 3 of his last 5, with Wright’s accuracy, it’d be a surprise if he didn’t cut. Winky may even stun him a few times or drop him, MW is not Paul’s weight.

Paul Williams UD12 Winky Wright. Wright will be very much in this fight early, maybe even ahead on the cards after 7, but the 2 year lay off and the determination of the younger Paul Williams will take too much out of him. Predicted Scorecard 116-112 williams

Chris “The Nightmare” Arreola vs Jameel “Big Time” McCline

Jameel McCline T/KO 7 Chris Arreola. Arreola showed up at the highest weight in his career, he’s chinny, has major stamina issue’s and is way open for McCline’s uppercut in particular. McCline may just coast it to a UD, but after seeing the Walker fight again, I feel Arreola will be gassed in 5 and McCline is at a normal weight for him and has proven durability and has gone 12 countless times.

Chris Arreola TKO Jameel McCline
-Jesse Rican, OnTheGRinDBoXinG.coM Features Writer

Arreola TKO4 McCline. McCline is very much past his prime and will most likely stand and trade with the Heavy handed Arreola. Expect McCline to be down in the 2nd….Hold for the 3rd….Then succumb to all the pressure and pain in the 4th, and not answer the count of the fights second KD.

Arreola TKO9 McCline. Mercy stoppage, with Arreola drinking a cold one afterwards ala Stone Cold Steve Austin, to the horror of the HBO Cameras.
