Team OtG Picks “Firepower: Pacquiao vs Cotto…!!!”
Manny Pacquaio TKO 10 Miguel Cotto

Manny Pacquiao
Good fight, but I see Pacman taking it. He’s faster, and he’s hot right now. His confidence is awesome, and Cotto hasn’t been the same fighter since he lost to Margarito. Plus Cotto can be hit right down the middle at anytime. This Pacman guy is awesome. His speed, coupled with his strength, and southpaw stance, may be too much for Cotto.

After a 1st round of “feeling each other out,” the action begins in the 3rd, for real, with the speed of Manny Pac proving to be too fast for Miguel Cotto resulting in the re-opening of some cuts from the Margarito fight. One of the cuts is over the right eye, and is a big factor in rounds 4-6 as Pac gains momentum. In the 6th Pac staggers Cotto with a brutal left hook, the same that decapitated Hatton. Round 7 starts fast and ends at 2:35 against the ropes as a helpless Cotto catches a vicious barrage, and the ref stops it as the Cotto corner throws in the towel. Manny Pac is paraded around the ring with the Diamond Belt and Cotto’s WBO belt, as Shane Mosley once again calls him out and that idiot Kellerman loses control of the post fight interview.

Manny Pacquaio UD12 Miguel Cotto. If it doesn’t go the distance I can see Cotto taking it though.

Pacquiao TKO3 Cotto

Pacquiao TKO9 Cotto. It will be a great fight while it lasts, but I think that Pac is too much for Cotto to handle. Cotto is pretty slow on his feet while Manny can just jump in, throw a vicious combination and get out before Cotto can respond. Cotto also thinks that the body is Manny’s weak point, but Manny has gotten a lot more solid and that KOs have been ages ago. Pacquiao also is an expert of knocking out past prime opposition.

Pacquiao by Whenever the Opening Act Gets Off The Stage.
Manny Pacquiao will continue his prime by calling it a night early at the MGM Grand Arena this evening. Although the event is boxing’s fight of the year, for Pacquiao it’s just a way to show that he understands what AC/DC meant when they sang, “It’s A Long Way To The Top If You Want To Rock n’ Roll.” Manny Pacquiao of course, not content with merely solidifying his position as the sport’s number 1 fighter, will be performing with his band late this Saturday night. My prediction in this fight depends on how anxious the Icon of PI boxing is to take the stage and play his concert. If the band has been sounding satisfactory to the perfectionist that is Pacquiao, he may put in 3/4 of a day at the office, taking off just prior to the championship rounds. If Pacquiao however is unsatisfied with how the band has been playing during the final week of rehearsals, look for him to make short work of the Pride of Puerto Rico, and get in an extra warm up tune prior to serenading his elated fans. If you want to see Manny Pacquiao in the championship rounds, you are going to have to wait for the encore early Sunday morning after a full set..

Cotto Late Round TKO Pacquiao…
-Kevin Blatt
If Cotto can handle Mosley and not get knocked out cold by Marga-Cheato then he handles Pacman. Cotto Wins KO/TKO. ..and there goes the concert. Maybe Pacquiao can sing “Everybody Hurts,” by REM.
